Week 3

On Wednesday this week we started junior school rotations. Here we are doing some drama games with Miss Ortlipp. We turned our partners into statues of animals, people and objects.

This week Aliya won the You Can Do It award for Persistence. Great work Aliya!

Here are some photos of Orange group performing 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf' during literacy rotations. We are getting really good at using our voices to make our plays interesting. We love performing and putting on a good show!

Our Favourite Books

This term we are going on a Book Safari. We will be reading lots of stories and even writing and publishing our very own book! Last week we all brought in our favourite stories to share in class. A lot of us love funny stories because they make us laugh. Our favourite stories are helping us to get ideas for our own books.

Welcome Miss Ortlipp

Since last term, lots of things have changed. We said good-bye to Mrs Tabain, who now has a new little baby boy called Max. She has promised to come back to visit us later in the term. Our new teacher is Miss Ortlipp. She has taught us a Good Morning song on the ukelele and we are having fun singing it all together. We also have a new interactive whiteboard in our classroom which is so exciting!
